While red is the clear forerunner in color trends for the Fall Winter 2011- 2012 season in mens fashion, there a few lesser trends of note. After red, Mustard was perhaps the most seen hue on designer runways for the season. The color is somewhat stealthy in that is can lean toward bright and simply look like yellow, or it can go darker and get taken for tan.

If you want to ease your way into this color, may we suggest you start at the top - shirts, vests, and sweaters, that is. They are easiest to incorporate into your existing wardrobe without much fuss.

If you're a bit bolder, go for a pair of mustard pants. You're best bet is to pair it with a neutral to keep the look sophisticated. Designers seem to prefer it with black, but it would also be great with grey.

Finally, if you want to go big with mustard choose outerwear in the saucy hue. The bright break from standard black and brown is refreshing and surprisingly easier to wear.
